"There is a wide wide world behind everything we see"

I loved that movie, first thing I loved about it was how they imagined death to be,especially for a little pure innocent girl..and I loved her narration in the movie,of how she felt, and what she went through, live or dead..
Also the character of her loving father, which was so sad! :(
The story is realistic and sad,I felt so bad for all the children in the world who were denied the right to live their lives because of such horrible people like Mr. Harvy..
Good movie, although I expected it to be different!and although it kinda depressed me :'(
Oh,and great soundtracks!

Hajar,
welcome,hope you'll enjoy it

Dot,
well,I actually expected it would be suspense..I thought the idea of the movie was that she comes back as a ghost and tries to warn her dad and sister and tell them who murdered her,and they start to investigate him and bla bla..you know?
but the movie turned out to be about moving on and getting over our biggest crisis, and about accepting what we get because sometimes we cannot control it
and finally about the fact that no matter what, evil people will get what they deserve, and no matter how they could hurt us they don't own us,and how to find peace and stop hating them because they will be punished...
that's just what I thought :)

Haitham,
I guess ino wesel min zman..it is not new
it depressed me because the story of her-the innocent talented girl-and her father who loved her so much was heart-breaking..and they didn't know why that happened...why would that happen to anyone??
:(

Rain,
i saw it yesterday, and i was a little bit dissapointed...The story is good, and there's a lot of great movie effects. although there's a lot of hanging thread, n mr harvy's 'justice' is like 'WHAT?' i wish they would develop their characters a little...

but i agree what you say here.

Hajar,
Because that is the whole point of the story, you don't need to catch him and kill him to make sure he got what he deserved, you have to believe it even if you don't,and if you become obsessed about hating him and getting him and making him pay he will end owning your mind
develop whose character?
I thought the characters were very natural and realistic, especially her parents
The waiting also bothered me,but when I got the point I realized it was not that important, and her soul was in peace at last
that was so sad btw when the other murdered girls came and took her :(((

character worth developing, was the girl (brunette) that hangs with ray -her character had a promising jolt when the 'dead' girl ran into her. I was hoping she'll be in connected somewhat way (although it did happen on the last part), then there's her grandma-i LOVE sarandon, but besides being the 'typical mother in law of the 70's', her first initial character as a grandmother was rather filler...nah, the story is fine...I'm over analytical on movies...I keep looking at details (at times i forgot the bigger pictures)

But you know what?you are right,we thought that that neighbor would have something to do with the story especially that she was presented in the background of the story at the beginning but she didn't!and her grandma' too...I agree with you, they were worth developing and contributing in the events :)
